Tasmin Ali

Digital Content Creator

Born in Arezzo in 1999 but raised in the heart of Rome, Tasmin Ali is known as the Tik Toker with the veil. She attended the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at Roma Tre University. Her choice of studies was by no means conincidental. From an early age, Tasnim longed to become a journalist so as to provide a voice in defence of all Muslim and non-Muslim women who suffered discrimination of whatever kind. Her activity on social media is perfectly in line with what she hopes one day to become. Her satirical sketches on Tik Tok have become famous for highlighting the prejudices that still exist against some religious beliefs.

Tasnim is also active on Instagram where, by showcasing her origins and posting photos, she attempts to raise awareness among her followers of discrimination towards the Muslim people. With the increase in her popularity, there came inevitably the first negative comments, which however did little to dampen her enthusiasm for pursuing her dream.

In January 2021 Tasnim became correspondent for Ogni Mattina, TV8’s morning programme on Sky, and thanks to her determination, she is already working with many prestigious brands.

Marcello Macchia

Director, actor, author, writer and filmmaker

Marcello Macchia, alias Maccio Capatonda, was born in Chieti in 1978. He is a director, actor, author, writer and filmmaker. At the age of 12 he began his love affair with the camera and shot his first artistic “experiments”. Initially he ventured into horror films, set in and around the streets of Chieti and the Abruzzo countryside, but they had the opposite effect of instilling fear into his audience. They made people laugh. So he ventured into comedy. Moving to Milan, he continued experimenting and eventually gave life to the “capatondiano” style, made up of parodies, puns and nonsense. His first videos, broadcast on “Mai dire..” on Italia Uno, turned him into a viral sensation. His phrases became catchphrases and some expressions even entered day-to day language. The characters he invented became the new gods of popular imagination: Rupert Sciamenna, Anna Pannocchia, Ektor Baboden, Riccardino Fruffolo, Ivo Avido and Herbert Ballerina, who would later become his sidekick, to name just a handful.

Through his production company Shortcut Productions, he has worked with Fox, Rai 3, La7, All Music and made commercials for major brands.  Following the series INTRALCI, a hugely popular cycnical soap-com parody of soap operas, LEGGEREZZE, DRAMMI MEDICALI with Elio and the gothic horror LA VILLA DI LATO that was anything but scary, he conceived and produced two – almost three – seasons for MTV of the highly successful MARIO – UNA SERIE DI MACCIO CAPATONDA, acclaimed by both crictics and audiences. On social media he scores high: over 1.2 million followers on Facebook and almost 490,000 on Instagram.

His film debut in January 2015 was with ITALIANO MEDIO, distributed by Medusa, which he wrote, directed and starred in, and which took 2 million euros in its first weekend. With Infinity he produced the social campaign I TRAILERS di Maccio Capatonda, parodies in trailer format of the films in the Infinity catalogue, returning to the origins that had launched him with the Gialappas. The campaign was a huge success, with more than 800,000 views on YouTube.

He is the writer, director and actor of MARIOTTIDE – LA SITCOM, produced with Lotus Production, which went online in October 2016 on Infinity. In March of the same year he released his second film OMICIDIO ALL’ITALIANA, nominated for “Best Comedy” at the Nastro D’argento 2017 awards. In 2016 and 2019 he voiced the protagonist Red for the animated features ANGRY BIRDS I and II, produced by SONY PICTURES USA. The first will be presented at the 69th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. In 2018 he voiced PUPAZZI SENZA GLORIA (Inglorious Puppets) and appeared in a new series on Sky Atlantic entitled THE GENERI, a journey through different film genres, also broadcast on Now Tv.

During the 2020 quarantine, he shot six episodes of the web success TGCASA 40ena , chalking up 1.5 million views. He wrote “LIBRO” for Mondadori Electa, which sold over 50,000 copies. He also shot three comedy videos for WWF, Amazon and Tavernello, reaching impressive numbers on social media with exceptionally high engagement and impressions that have crowned Maccio the undisputed KING of the web and social media.

Federico Clapis

Federico Clapis (born in Milan on 4th April 1987) is an Italian contemporary  artist. He began his career in a way that can be considered decidedly unique way, by opening new itineraries and horizons in the art world.

For years, Clapis worked “undercover” producing viral videos on social media and accumulating millions of followers and views.

In 2015, at the height of his popularity, he decided to move away from pure entertainment and converted his online presence into a tool for the dissemination of his artistic works that he had previously kept hidden.

In 2010, he began a long inner journey to explore the most intimate conditions of the human soul, living in an ashram in India and continuing his research into western culture through existential paths.

Clapis lives his art as a materialisation of his experiences, and as a medium of introspection to share with his followers.

Technology, a recurring theme in his best known works, is a contemporary metaphor to explore our timeless emotional states.

In 2021 he took his first steps into the world of cryptoart, where his knowledge of the digital medium allowed him to position himself in a very short time among the world’s leading artists in this new and radical form of art.

NFTs, sculptures, installations and video art become vehicles of a more profound adventure in discovering a shared interiority between the artist and the observer.
