PAOLO RE

Musician, writer, producer

X

Born in 1968, Paolo Re is many things. Writer, author, producer and frequently musician-composer, even though he never wanted to learn to play an instrument.

He has written songs and soundtracks for both local and international projects, which have turned into hits all over the world.

He has had fun too in the world of music for kids, composing and producing songs and soundtracks for some of the most famous literary successes in the world starring mice, bats and assorted monsters.

He has worked in television and radio, taking part in some of the most celebrated and entertaining shows of the last thirty years.

He works with creatives and performers across the board, with the principal communication agencies and major brands around the world, producing and composing hundreds of jingles and sound design projects for radio and television, becoming one of the most awarded in his field.

Considered among the coolest sound directors in the 1995-2010 Milan post-production landscape, he then started his own record label, which although decidedly niche was highly successful.

One day he felt music was not enough to reach others. So he began to write for one of Italy’s best known style magazines on culture, fashion, current affairs, politics and travel. He has           been published by other no less important periodicals, and much  more that has slipped his mind… Perhaps because the best is yet to come.

One night he decided he had to move to New Zealand with his family, including dog and cat. This extraordinary adventure gave rise to a very successful book, which by turns makes you cry and laugh and even provides some useful life tips, published by a forward-looking publisher with a beautiful wife.

He holds a course of his own invention at two universities in Milan.

In July 2018 he published his second book, which was the inspiration for a theatrical show he took on tour around Italy a year later.

In September 2021 the text of the show was published.

The Beatles, Shakespeare, AC Milan of the Rocco-Rivera-Lodetti period, but also Van Basten-Gullit and Colombo and pizza: just a few of the things that make him happy.

I have positioned the esperya.com brand as a synonym for excellence in its sector, contributing with the most innovative and personal communication possible to create the case of the first Italian food and wine commerce.

During a long collaboration with Gambero Rosso I created new digital publishing formats that stood out for their success and innovative vision.

I founded and directed Dissapore.com, which with over two million daily readers is probably the most well-known digital magazine in the community of Italian food and wine lovers. I founded and directed Intravino.com, one of the best known and longest-running online publications dedicated to the world of wine.

RICCARDO HAUPT

CEO Will Media

X

Graduated in law, then briefly ‘wannabe’ business lawyer in one of the largest Italian law firms, a passage in a public authority (Antitrust in Rome) who introduced me to my PhD in Bocconi and my years as a researcher in several European think tanks and research centers. In 2016 I founded Civetta, with which I tour the Italian schools accompanied by PhD students, consultants and professionals to do ‘education to complexity’ (sometimes we succeed!). I am CEO of Will since 2023 after dealing first with content, partnership and then revenues. I keep having a lot of fun with podcasts: every week I host Actually and I co-author the podcast Mele Marce and The Unicorn.
